A Conundrum of Words

I find that writing lyrics is the only part of the songwriting process in which quality often suffers with added effort. A short burst of inspiration seems infinitely more effective than a forced period of work. I've grown to dislike how problematic this becomes with regard to efficiency, as it seems like in recent weeks my project has barely come any closer to completion.
